Cabinet scraper designed to produces a fine finish on solid woodand veneers. Very useful for smoothing knots, burrs, crossed grainand removing old surface finishes. Cabinet scrapers remove fineshavings from wood to give a very smooth finish. Unlike an abrasiveit does not produce dust which can clog the grain. The cut iscontrolled by finger pressure to bow out the blade, varying thecurve and localising the cut. Can be easily re-sharpened with afile.
