Purpose
Liberon Pure Tung Oil is highly resistant to water, alcohol andfood acids.
Providing a hard wearing finish it is ideal for surfaces suchas kitchen worktops, tables and all high quality interiorwood.
Pure Tung Oil, with no added dryers, is a natural, non-toxicproduct which can be used on toys and objects in contact with foodsuch as salad bowls etc.
Recommended for use on exterior oak.

Application
Ready to use.
Apply Tung Oil using a brush or lint-free cotton cloth.
For ease of application dilute the first one or two coats withup to 50% white spirit.
Allow the oil to penetrate for 20 to 30 minutes then wipe offthe excess oil using a clean lint-free cloth.
Allow to dry for 24 hours between coats.
Apply further coats of Tung Oil as above, reducing the amountof white spirit used with subsequent coats.
Again allow 24 hours to dry.
Apply the last one or two coats of Tung Oil undiluted, as inprevious applications.
After the final coat has been applied and the excess removedleave for 24 hours and wipe over again to aid drying and remove anyoil that may have surfaced.
We recommend a minimum of 4 coats; more coats will be requiredfor porous or external surfaces.
For best results gently rub with Liberon Ultra Fine Steel Wool(0000) between coats
